There’s no better time to Take a Book Outside! and support Friends of the VPL.

The Take a Book Outside! fundraising campaign encourages everyone to enjoy the pleasure of reading outdoors. With a good book, there are so many options: beach reads, reading at the lake, packing a picnic and hiking a trail with a good book, or lazy afternoons in the shade, travelling the world through reading.

You can also support the adventures of others by donating to Friends to support VPL Past donations have expanded their online collections, funded the very popular Write-in-Residence program, upgraded story time, and so much more.

There are several ways to donate to the Friends:

  • Do some shopping at book’mark, The Library Store or at bookmarkstore.ca.
  • Make a one-time or recurring cash donation.
  • We have recently introduced a new membership level – Lifetime Membership, consider upgrading today.
